Profile of Kerrie O'Connor

Kerrie O’Connor owns and manages Event Success. She studied at Fitzwilliam College in Dublin and received a Diploma in Event Management, which is accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.

Kerrie holds a BA in Psychology and Certificate in Communication Skills from University College Dublin. Kerrie also holds certificates in HACCP and in Food Hygiene Management, which are vital when dealing with venues and catering companies.  She recently completed a Management Development Course accredited by W.I.T.

For several years Kerrie worked in Field Sales with the Enfer Group. Previously she worked as Membership Development Manager in the Sales Institute of Ireland. Kerrie managed seminars and business briefings in Dublin and Cork with high profile speakers such as government ministers and industry leaders.

She organised training workshops for the Sales Institute. Although based in Dublin at the time, Kerrie was responsible for the Munster branch. This involved running seminars each month and organising the annual Golf Classic. She also speaks Spanish having worked for Berlitz in Barcelona.

Kerrie is an associate member of Meet Limerick Shannon, a member of NEO Ireland (the Network of Event Organisers in Ireland), a memberof  Network Ireland and of Lough Derg Yacht Club  www.ldyc.ie . In September 2008 her business won "Best New Business" in North Tipperary in the National Enterprise Awards.
